We Met…on June 28, 2014 in Azusa, California at the wedding ceremony of our mutual friends, Ana Zambrano & Nicholas Ruiz. Jason was the only “Gringo” in attendance, and he struck Corinne’s fancy when he was the most helpful person at the fiesta. As the night went on, Jason asked Corinne to dance. They continued dancing even more the following weekend in Ensenada, Mexico at the 2nd wedding of Ana y Nico. The next week, Jason offered to pick Corinne up from the airport after a business trip. That Friday they had their first “official” date…and the rest is truly history!
He Proposed …on September 3, 2015 at Corinne’s beloved alma mater, Georgetown University. After a whirlwind tour throughout Washington, D.C., Jason shocked the heck out of Corinne and asked her to marry him as he got down on one knee. They spent a wonderful evening celebrating with friends and family in the D.C. area, and continued to New York City for more touring and a wedding. It was truly an incredible weekend of traveling, adventure and love.
