“Friendship consists in forgetting what one gives and remembering what one receives.” – Alexander Dumas
CO-MATRONS-OF-HONOR
Gina DiBartolo Stempel (Cousin of the Bride since 1981) is Corinne’s cousin. Growing up in a close-knit family they spent countless holidays and milestones together. Their relationship flourished into a friendship, and Gina paved a path for Corinne to look up to. When she graduated high school, Gina convinced Liz and Danny to take Corinne to Hawaii for her Senior trip. It was the first of many “adult” adventures and great memories. They recently traveled on a 10-day trip together sailing through Italy, France and Spain for the ultimate girl’s adventure. Gina lives in Camarillo, California with her husband Keith, and two children Kayla and Blake, who are also Corinne’s godchildren.

Lola Wiarco Dweck (Friend of the Bride since 1995) and Corinne became fast friends during their freshman year at Chino High in Mrs. Blecker’s math class. After graduating in 1999, Corinne left southern California for Washington, D.C., and in 2007 Lola moved to our Nation’s Capital for a job opportunity. The two were roommates for three years where Lola taught Corinne top-notch culinary skills and to enjoy the finer things in life. In 2010, they both decided to move back to Southern California, and packed up Lola’s Honda civic for a 3,000 mile epic cross-country-road-trip. This expedition symbolized the richness of their friendship as they ventured through the United States exploring new cities and cultures. Today, Lola lives outside of Denver, Colorado with her husband Michael, and their son Amado.

They have great memories of a wonderful childhood together whether it be figuring out how to shrink down small enough to live in Daniel’s Ghostbuster house or Corinne locking him out of their dad’s bright orange camper while he ran behind it from the gas station trying to get back in the vehicle.
